Construction of virtual network
Ural customs department of the Federal Customs Service of Russia and Yekateringburg branch of Uralsviazinform ended the first stage of building a virtual network uniting all customs offices of the Mid Urals. Inspection, design and technical implementation of the project was provided by Open Technologies.
Open Technologies inspected the customs offices of Ural Customs Department of the FCS on the territory of 7 regions of Ural Federal District. The research resulted in a project and successful expertise in The Center of Communications Scientific Researches and Expertise. The expertise concluded that the project corresponds to GOST standards. The construction of virtual network and optical fiber communications network began. The velocity of information transfer is 100 Mbit/s. The virtual network k units 3 sites of Urals Customs Department located in Yekaterinburg. In the future the virtual network will be extended. It will include Yekaterinburg Customs Office, Koltsov
Customs Office, Nizny Tagil Customs Office and Urals Operational Customs Office.
