Open Technologies, Russian system integrator, announced about the completion of modernization project at Samaraenergo OJSC.

The modernization of server complex was prompted by the necessity of raising the efficiency of business control at Samaraenergo OJSC via common IT-infrastructure and modern high-tech solutions.

Open Technologies was entitled to the project by winning a tender featuring both Samara and Moscow integrators offering various solutions of major vendors.  

Given technical requirements of the customers, the modernization of the server complex involved Fujitsu-Siemens blade servers, which ideally suit computer centers with high requirements to computation powers.  

During the project Open Technologies supplies 10 BX620C4 blade-servers by Fujitsu-Siemens and FiberCat CX3 array, assembled, configured and commissioned the equipment. Besides, the integrator provided for   Fujitsu-Siemens Computers training in blade-server operation for the specialists of the customer.

According to Andrey Repkin, the head of IT management department at Samaraenergo OJSC, this is not our first experience of working with Open Technologies.  The specialists of the company recommended themselves as specialists of high qualification, which allows them implementing projects of various degree of complexity.  The most important factor, which provided for its victory in the project, was its experience of working with Fujitsu-Siemens products.
