Open Technologies and ZAO NPO "Tyazhpromarmatura" announce the completion of the project on Suchodolski plant

During the installation process of the largest in Europe hydraulic press factory that produces valves, it was discovered that the bundle lacks a security system that would control the production area and press and check the presence of staff and equipment in this zone in order to prevent accidents and emergencies.

Due to the fact that employees of the manufacturer of the press "SCHULER" did not have time within the specified period to complete their scope of works, it was decided to give the development and installation of security system to a third party, namely company Open Technologies.

The company Open Technologies decided not to deviate from the approach followed by the manufacturer of the press and had implemented a solution based on Siemens equipment to ensure maximum integration with the existing control system.

In the framework of this project, the specialists of Open Technologies were responsible for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the automated system security in Suchodolski plant. The security system was designed to ensure the safe operation of the plant stamping press and serves to prevent accidents and damage caused to equipment during the manufacturing process. The system monitors the presence of personnel and equipment in the work area and immediately blocks all work in case of detection of any strange presence. ACS BPS also provides for operational emergency stop of the press on-demand of operators or other personnel who has decided that the operation of the press must be urgently stopped in order to prevent emergency or release of the defective products.

After completion of this project, the company Open Technologies signed with JSC "Tyazhpromarmatura" agreement to perform additional scope of works.

"Thanks to our automated security system, the plant has protected itself from the risks associated with enterprise property damage and personal safety of its employees, and ensured internal and external stability of production processes in the enterprise,"
says Timur Coverge, head of APCS Department in Open Technologies.
